ACAT (Citizen Action for the Abolition of the Torture) is a Human Rights related Non Governmental Organization founded in 2000. Our essential mission is to work on the promotion and the defense of Human Rights in Haiti through education, raising awareness and pleading. JPP is the branch of ACAT constituted of young people from 10 to 18 years old in a suburb named Martissant, located in the southern part of Port - au - Prince. These young people are working in schools and on the streets. Its work consists in implementing pacific settlement of dispute and providing training on Human Rights principles to other young people.
